Reacfin is looking for

an Actuarial Consultant

Our offering comprises of 3 business lines:

Tool & Model development

Tailored computational solutions designed and developed to integrate smoothly into your company’s systems and processes (incl. open-source offerings)

Advisory

Model deployments, calibration, documentation, testing, validation, maintenance, governance, regulatory compliance and life-cycle management

Training

Both On-Site and On-Line Executive Education solutions including theoretical and methodological concepts, real-life case studies and exercises

Our team is composed both of experienced senior professionals having held management positions in insurance companies or banks and of very bright young talents with state-of-the-art technical skills.

Your function

Provide support to our clients in the design, implementation or review of financial and actuarial models (from a quantitative and qualitative point of view – see for instance http://reacfin.com/index.php/our-company)

Contribute to the development of our technical trainings in Actuarial Science, Data Science and Finance (see for instance http://www.reacfinacademy.com)

Contribute to the coding of the tools we develop to support our missions or to propose readily available solutions to our clients (see for instance https://reacfin.com/index.php/onlineapps)

Help us maintain our leading technical positioning with potential R&D tasks and further develop our company’s expertise in the matter

Your profile

You have between 0 and 3 years of experience and are holding a master in Actuarial Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or have an equivalent diploma in a strongly quantitative matter

You are sufficiently fluent in English to use it as your professional language, and you are fluent either in Dutch or in French

You are curious and eager to learn on different topics (Life, Non-Life, Health, Finance,…)

You are flexible and keen to take on ambitious professional challenges

You are very familiar with at least one programming language (for instance R, Python, VBA, C++, Java, etc.)

Some experience with professional/statistical software such as SAS or Prophet is an asset
