a Senior Consultant in ALM or portfolio management

Our offering comprises of 3 business lines:

Tool & Model development

Tailored computational solutions designed and developed to integrate smoothly into your company’s systems and processes (incl. open-source offerings)

Advisory

Model deployments, calibration, documentation, testing, validation, maintenance, governance, regulatory compliance and life-cycle management

Training

Both On-Site and On-Line Executive Education solutions including theoretical and methodological concepts, real-life case studies and exercises

Our team is composed both of experienced senior professionals having held management positions in insurance companies or banks and of very bright young talents with state-of-the-art technical skills.

Your function

Provide support to our clients in the design, implementation or review of financial and actuarial models (from a quantitative and qualitative point of view): Economic Scenario Generator, Balance sheet and P&L projection, valuation of financial products, strategic asset allocation studies,…

Help us maintain our leading technical positioning with potential R&D tasks in tool development (ESG, business projection tool,…) or training development via Reacfin Academy

Play an active role in further developing our services both in Belgium and internationally

Your profile

You can demonstrate more than 5 years successful professional experience in ALM, portfolio management or Finance (Banking or Insurance), delivering above expectations results

You are holding a master or a PhD in Finance, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science or have an equivalent diploma in a strongly quantitative matter

You have strong mathematical background and a keen interest in developing practical solutions covering both quantitative and qualitative aspects

You are professionally fluent in 2 of the 3 following languages: English, Dutch and French

You have strong teaching, communication and technical writing skills

You enjoy our culture of entrepreneurialism, our knowledge sharing and no black-box philosophy

You have regularly developed financial solutions with at least one programming language (for instance R, Python, VBA, C++, Java, etc.)

Some experience with professional/statistical software such as SAS or Prophet is an asset
