Reacfin is happy to announce that Mr. Frédéric Vangheluwe has accepted to take an active and regular role in the business development and management of our company. As of June 1st 2020, Mr. Vangheluwe officially joins Reacfin as a Senior Expert & Associated Partner.
As many will know, Frédéric has already been recently involved in the execution of Reacfin consulting missions and the development of trainings. Next to pursuing such activities, in his new role Frédéric will be particularly involved in the development of Reacfin’s solutions (in consulting, training and tooling) for banks, asset managers and investment firms. He will also be beefing-up our offer regarding investment challenges for insurance companies and pension funds.
Before joining Reacfin, Frédéric Vangheluwe performed most of his career at BNP Paribas Fortis (previously Fortis Bank) which he joined in 1987. He evolved over the years within the Global Markets department of the bank (which he headed as of 2007) and within the Merchant Bank of the group. Among others, from 2004 to 2006 he was Business Operating Officer of the Merchant bank and Chief Risk Officer of the same entity in 2007.
Later in his career, as he became head of the Global Markets activity of the bank, Mr. Vangheluwe was a member of the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas Fortis and of BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking at group level. During his last years at BNP Paribas Fortis, Mr. Vangheluwe headed the bank’s Transformation Office and was in charge of setting-up the new Data Department within the bank.
Our Chairman, Professor Pierre Devolder and our Managing Partners, Mr. Xavier Maréchal and Mr. François Ducuroir are honored by Frédéric’s decision to join Reacfin and warmly welcome him on board. His senior experience and broad range of skills will strongly complement Reacfin’s existing expertise.
