Life Actuarial Consultant

Your function

Reacfin helps insurance companies navigate through the evolution of regulations for many years. We have developed a strong expertise in liabilities’ valuation under different valuation frameworks (BGAAP, Solvency 2, MCEV, IFRS17) as well as capital and P&L Management.
As a life actuarial consultant, your responsibilities include:

Provide support to our clients in the design, implementation or review of financial and actuarial models for assets & liabilities valuation, capital and P&L management under different frameworks.

Contribute to the development of our technical trainings on regulatory frameworks, assets & liabilities valuation, capital and P&L management.

Contribute to the design or coding of the tools we develop to support our missions or to propose readily available solutions to our clients (business projection dashboard, ORSA toolkit,…)

Help us maintain our leading technical positioning with potential R&D tasks, contribution to our regulatory watch and further development of our company’s expertise

Your profile

You have minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a financial institutions or consulting firm

You have a strong expertise in assets and liabilities valuation under different frameworks and you are still curious to learn on this topic inside a knowledgeable team of experts

You are have experience in insurance regulation (experience in IFRS17 is an asset), and want to develop your expertise in capital and P&L management to help our clients succeed in the insurance market

Experience in Life Insurance is a strong asset

You have good programing skills (e.g. VBA, Python and/or R)

You have a positive mindset as well as good communication and listening skills

You are solution-driven and able to work in autonomy
